ProXdos 700 Heat-Sealed Badge
The ProXdos 700 is a lightweight, heat-sealed TLD Badge made from recyclable, flexible plastic. If sealed with the Badge Heat Sealing Unit, the ProXdos 700 is tamper-resistant and impermeable to water and air. We also offer dose factors for use with this badge in adjusting dose calculation algorithms.
ProXdos 700 Badge Heat Sealing Unit
The Badge Heat Sealing Unit is a self-contained, automatic contact-welding device for use with the ProXdos 700 Badge. Badges are dropped into the machine and quickly receive a precise, continuous heat seal around the edge of the badge.
ProXdos 700 Badge Opener
The Badge Opener tool is used to remove the heat seal from ProXdos 700 Hangers so that they can be processed. It is composed of two brushed aluminum tracks and four safety-guarded edge cutters.
ProXdos 700 Thermal Printer Labels
Proxtronics has thermal printer labels die-cut to fit the ProXdos 700 Badge. The label space can be customized with any logo or graphics you require.
ProXdos 500B Badge
This TLD Badge is a clear plastic, two-piece, interlocking, open window hanger with an alligator clip attached at the back side. This is a discontinued item, so supplies are limited.
ProXdos 300 Extremity Ring
Our proprietary Extremity Ring is designed to house the Panasonic UD-807 TLD element. It consists of two interlocking pieces, can be cold-sterilized, and will not tear surgical gloves. The rings are available in three sizes to fit any user.
Proxtronics TriFilter Film Badge
The Proxtronics Film Badge is used to house Kodak Personnel Monitoring Film. It contains three filter elements of lead, copper and aluminum at varying thicknesses. This item is discontinued, so supplies may be limited.
Panasonic UD-874 Clamshell Badge
The Panasonic Clamshell Badge is a reusable, heavy-duty waterproof hanger introduced by Panasonic to house the UD-800 series TLD. Proxtronics can also provide dose factor data that can be used with this hanger to calibrate algorithms for dose calculation.
UD-7900 Automatic TLD Reader
The UD-7900 is the flagship of modern TLD reading operations. This machine can cycle through 500 badges at a time, and is set up for data capture to a desktop computer. Combined with our software, TLD reading is simplified to a few keystrokes.
UD-710 TLD Reader with Magazine Changer
The UD-710 Automatic Reader is the original high-volume automatic TLD reader, and is considered the workhorse of any TLD-based dosimetry laboratory. The 710 is reliable, accurate, and cost-effective, and is able to read 500 TLDs in one batch.
UD-716AGL with UD-736AB Magazine Changer
The UD-716AGL is a TLD reader designed for smaller dosimetry laboratories, offering the TLD reading and data-capture functionality of a UD-7900 at less cost in a smaller, more portable package. When equipped with the UD-736AB Magazine changer, it is able to process 200 TLDs during each batch.
Glow Curve Interface
A glow-curve capture device which communicates to a host computer via an RS-232C serial interface. Can be easily interfaced to a wide array of computers and operating systems. Allows data capture and remote operation of UD-710, UD-716 and UD-7900 from PCs, workstations, or notebook computers. A GCI is required to use computer-based dosimetry software with UD-710s, and significantly lowers batch times when used with a UD-7900 or UD-716.
UD-794 “Panarad” Automatic TLD Irradiator
The UD-794 Panarad Automatic TLD Irradiator allows a processing laboratory to irradiate its TLDs for Element Correction Factors, Quality Control Checks and Calibrations without the extremely costly practice of using an outside organization to perform irradiations for these functions. The irradiator is able to process through 500 badges per batch, and can be easily calibrated to standard test sources.
UD-802A Whole-Body TLD
UD-802A TLDs are the industry standard for Whole Body Dosimetry. The use of two distinct phosphors allows the dosimeter to be used not only to determine the magnitude of dose, but also the type and energy level of that radiation.
UD-802A2 Whole-Body TLD
The UD-802A2 is similar to the UD-802A, but with different shield characteristics, so most processing laboratories use either UD-802A or UD-802A2 exclusively. Proxtronics uses UD-802A.
UD-807 Extremity TLD
UD-807 TLDs are special dosimeters used only in extremity rings. The dosimeter uses one Lithium Borate element, which is worn on the finger in our ProxRing Extremity Dosimeter.
UD-814 Environmental TLD
UD-814 TLDs contain three Calcium Sulfate elements instead of two. This results in greater accuracy for low-level radiation, making them suitable for measuring background radiation.
